Hello! I created this page as I reflected on my own experience of surviving a PhD program during the pandemic. Being in my home country during most of graduate school (years 2-4) felt like this:

A still from the movie Gravity (2013) depicting an aeronaut with disconnected from their vehicle, floating in outer space.

A still from the movie Gravity (2013) depicting an aeronaut with disconnected from their vehicle, floating in outer space.

The only way I got through this was by reaching out to people - fellow graduate students, those who were a few years ahead, professors, mentors, early career scholars… It was only because of their generosity that I made it through. I created this page as a way to share what they shared with me so that we can all make it through.

You can access what I have so far here:

Literature reviews

Planning and tracking deadline templates

(WIP) Finding grants for graduate research

Books, blogs, and resources

(WIP) Finding jobs

I hope these help you as they have helped me.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you want to me to include something I haven’t covered.

YOU GOT THIS,
